Breaking News: Stockard out with Broken Foot
Courtney Stockard, the promising transfer from Allen Community College, is reported to have suffered a right lower leg injury. The projected starter for Bonnies this season is currently on crutches and in a boot. Beyond this photo and sightings around campus, we won’t speculate on the injury itself. Here’s hoping it is nothing too serious and he doesn’t miss any time. Obviously, any time a player is in a boot and on crutches it is a concern.
Stockard is one of the most promising signings for Bonas and is looking to contribute right away. Last season, Stockard averaged 23.2 points per game to go along with 9.0 rebounds. We hope he is able to make a quick recovery and be able to be ready for the season opener in the Reilly Center against Binghamton on November 13th. We will update this post as we get any updates that we can confirm.

Update: As reported by Gobonnies.com, wing Courtney Stockard is out indefinitely with a broken bone in his right foot. There is currently no timetable for his return. We will update this post again should we learn of any additional information. We will have thoughts on this loss soon so be sure to check back.
Spoke with our resident doctor regarding Stockard injury. Says could be as little as 4-6 weeks to heal. Not the worst news if true.
